The 1st International Conference on Green Innovation and Circular Economy (GR-I-CE 2024, https://griceconf.eu/), organized by our UNESCO Chair on Green Innovation and Circular Economy at NTUA, took place in Athens from October 20-23 with great success. It was a multi-conference, featuring scientific presentations alongside showcases of international best practices, meetings, and roundtable discussions with representatives from the environmental sector.

The 1st International Conference on Green Innovation and Circular Economy (GR-I-CE 2024) took place in Athens from October 20 to 23, successfully bringing together 170 participants from various sectors, including research centers, businesses, public institutions, universities, SMEs, NGOs, and startups, alongside decision-makers.

With great success and participation, the finals of the GreenTech Challenge by ESU NTUA 2022 took place on Sunday, December 11 of 2022, at the National Technical University of Athens. Greentech Challenge is currently the leading  National Green Innovation Program, aiming to highlight the best greenthech start-ups and innovative ideas of Greece.

The UNESCO Chair on Green Innovation and Circular Economy was given on 28th of June 2022 to Professor Konstantinos Aravossis, Coordinator of the Economic Environment and Sustainable Development Research Unit of the National Technical University of Athens.
