GR-I-CE 2024: Green Innovation and Circular Economy towards a Sustainable Future – Video

The 1st International Conference on Green Innovation and Circular Economy (GR-I-CE 2024, https://griceconf.eu/), organized by our UNESCO Chair on Green Innovation and Circular Economy at NTUA, took place in Athens from October 20-23 with great success.

It was a multi-conference, featuring scientific presentations alongside showcases of international best practices, meetings, and roundtable discussions with representatives from the environmental sector.
It served as a meeting point for the academic and business communities to address topics related to green innovation, circular economy, and sustainable development in general.

The conference brought together a total of 170 participants, featured 48 research presentations, and hosted 11 discussion panels with the participation of 52 representatives from the green innovation and circular economy sectors.

The event was structured around four key pillars:

1. Academic Pillar: Presentation of high-quality research papers.

2. Entrepreneurship Pillar: Industry professionals shared practices and insights on sustainability, green investments, and environmental management.

3. Green Innovation Pillar: As part of the ECOINNOVATION initiative, green startups presented innovative solutions reshaping the boundaries of sustainable development.

4. Cultural Pillar: Emphasis on the connection between sustainability and culture, highlighting that sustainability is inherently tied to social and cultural life.

GR-I-CE 2024 marked a significant milestone in promoting green innovation and circular economy, providing a meaningful platform to shape the future of sustainability on a global scale.
