Our Chair will be partner in the groundbreaking WaterWise Excellence Hub, supported by the HORIZON program! With a mission to drive sustainable and resilient water management, the WaterWise Excellence Hub focuses on advancing Circular Economy principles. Our efforts will enhance Industrial Symbiosis, recover valuable resources from wastewater, and support the EU’s vision for environmental and economic sustainability.
In collaboration with partners across Greece, Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia, Albania, Moldova, and Ukraine, we will innovate and implement decentralized, circular water systems. These systems aim to tackle pressing challenges such as water scarcity and climate change, ensuring efficient resource use and minimizing waste.
