Vasilis Stenos has a BSc & MSc in Business Economics & Environmental Engineering from the Agricultural University of Athens and a MSc in Earth & Environmental Engineering from the Columbia University.

He is a PhD Candidate and Researcher at the UNESCO Chair on Green Innovation and Circular Economy of the National Technical University of Athens.
His activities as a member of the Chair include his participation in research projects and programs proposals and management, in environmental studies and in techno-economic evaluations.
Vasilis is an Environmental & Agricultural Engineer with research and business background experienced in: vertical microalgae cultivation & harvesting, biocircular economy values, 17 UN’s SDG’s, ESG’s policies, management consulting, organic growth operations, project management, CSR marketing strategy & SQL Data Analysis.
Also he is the Founder of Solmeyea, a purpose-driven Agri – BioTech venture and spinout company producing more efficiently “carbon neutral” high value bioingredient-based proteins after waste waters & OFMSW treatment, through vertical microalgae cultivation & harvesting (utilizing the freely available CO2 & sunlight and recirculating and reusing 80% of the waters needed), enabling the food, feed & Pharma industries manufacture high value algal based premium end products for a significant lower cost with a phenomenal lower carbon footprint, abiding by the circular economy’s morals and goals.
