Maria Linardou Junior Researcher

Education

Maria Linardou holds an integrated postgraduate degree in Environmental Engineering from the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace, specializing in Energy and Climate Change.

She also holds a postgraduate degree in “Economics and Law in Energy Markets” from the Department of International and European Studies at the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Research Interest

Environmental and Carbon Footprint, Carbon Credits, Climate Change, Energy Markets, European Legislation, ISO Standards.

She is a PhD candidate and Junior Researcher at the UNESCO Chair for Green Innovation and Circular Economy at the National Technical University of Athens. Prior work experience includes consulting for various small and medium-sized enterprises on the preparation of ESG Reports and Carbon Footprint Studies for both the private and public sectors.
