Christos Nikoloudis Coordinator of Research on Green Innovation

Education

Christos Nikoloudis has an integrated master level diploma in Mechanical Engineering (National Technical University – NTUA), with special focus in Industrial Management and Operational Research.

Research Interest

Innovation Management, Startups, Techno-Economic Evaluation, Evaluation Systems, Green Innovation, Open Innovation, Entrepreneurship.

He is Coordinator of Research on Green Innovation at the UNESCO Chair on Green Innovation and Circular Economy of the National Technical University of Athens.

As a member of the Chair, he is participating in European or national research programmes, studies and techno-economic evaluations. Moreover, he actively teaches in undergraduate classes of the School of Mechanical Engineering of NTUA and in postgraduate classes of the interdepartmental master’s degree program in Business Administration (Athens MBA), of the Athens University of Economics and the National Technical University of Athens.

He is the Founder and CEO of Mantis Beyond Innovation, a spin out company of the National Technical University of Athens that offers a suite of innovation services to public and private organizations, bringing together businesses and startups to solve some of our most pressing environmental, fintech and societal challenges.

With a background that combines both research and startups, Christos is devoted to applying product innovation in new ventures, while acting as a startup community builder for the innovation ecosystem. He is the Creator of the digital platform of Elevate Greece – the official platform of the Hellenic Republic for the Greek Startup Ecosystem (National Startup Registry), the Co-founder of the National Green Innovation Program “GreenTech Challenge by ESU NTUA” for green startups & entrepreneurs, the Curator of StartupNow Forum – the largest startup event in Greece and a Fortune’s 40 under 40 finalist.

Finally, he is currently an Entrepreneurship and Technology Advisor at the Office of Technology Transfer of NTUA, focusing on management and protection of intellectual property issues.
