Dr. Eleni Strantzali, Assistant Professor Senior Researcher

Education

Dr. Eleni Strantzali is a Mechanical Engineer, NTUA, with a M.Sc. in MBA Techno-Economic Systems, NTUA (direction: Management of Technological Systems) and has a PhD in the Section of Industrial Management & Operational Research in the School of Mechanical Engineering, NTUA.

Research Interest

Energy planning, Evaluation of projects and investments, Maritime transport and environment, Maritime supply chain, Naval engineering, Decision support systems, Environmental risk management, Circular Economy, Evaluation of start-ups, Smart Cities

She has over 20 published papers in scientific journals and conference proceedings, and as of this time, her Scholar h-index is 6, with more than 500 citations.

She is a Senior Researcher at the UNESCO Chair on Green Innovation and Circular Economy of the National Technical University of Athens.

Eleni Strantzali is currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Naval Architecture at University of West Attica, with a specialisation in techno-economic analysis and supply chain in maritime transport.

She is, also, Reviewer in 7 Scientific Journals (Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Automation in Construction – ELSEVIER, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Springer, Energies, Journal of Marine Science and Engineering, Sustainability – MDPI, Environmental Assessment Policy and Management, World Scientific) and Guest Editor of the Special Issue “Techno-Economic Analysis and Optimization for Energy Systems” for Energies, MDPI.

She is Member of the Organizing and Scientific Committee of Conferences: “18th European Roundtable for Sustainable Consumption and Production – ERSCP 2017”, Greentech Symposium – StartupNow Forum, Greentech Challenge by ESU NTUA.
