The cutting of the New Year’s cake of the UNESCO Chair on Green Innovation and Circular Economy of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)
The cutting of the New Year’s cake of the UNESCO Chair on Green Innovation and Circular Economy of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) took place in the presence of members of the Chair’s team, esteemed colleagues and valued partners.
The past year was particularly productive, marked by the successful implementation of both established and new initiatives, including the Green Innovation and Circular Economy International Conference (GRICE), the 9th and largest National Green Innovation Programme, the Greentech Challenge, as well as the flagship continuing education programme on Circular Economy delivered through the NTUA Lifelong Learning Centre.
A major milestone was the establishment of the new Institute of Circular Economy and Sustainability of NTUA, to which the Chair contributed substantially. In parallel, scientific publications were further strengthened, and new collaborations were developed in innovative research and applied programmes with leading national and international organisations, as well as with other UNESCO Chairs.
The UNESCO Chair on Green Innovation and Circular Economy of NTUA wishes everyone a happy and healthy year ahead.
