The 9th GreenTech Challenge, the country’s largest national program dedicated to green innovation, has officially begun, organized by the UNESCO Chair for Green Innovation and Circular Economy at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
During the opening event, students, researchers and aspiring startuppers with innovative environmental ideas were introduced to the technological challenges facing the environmental sector today. Participants had the opportunity to explore this year’s thematic pillars of the program, learn about the benefits of participation, and familiarize themselves with the Preparation Program designed to support the development and incubation of new solutions.
The GreenTech Challenge continues to serve as a bridge between academic research, entrepreneurial creativity and real-world sustainability needs, empowering young innovators to turn their ideas into impactful, scalable ventures.
